Van Negris Senior Managing Director Mr. Negris is Senior Managing Director and a principal of Van Negris & Company, Inc. He previously served as Chairman and CEO of The Mantoloking Group, a private consulting and bridge financing partnership. Mr. Negris was a founder of Multex Incorporated in 1985, a leading edge advanced technology firm focusing on specialized brokerage and securities industry software or hardware/software applications, which was acquired by Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in 1989. Previously, at Goldman, Sachs & Co., PaineWebber Inc., and Chemical Bank, Mr. Negris served in various capacities in both investment banking and operations roles with co-responsibility for strategic technology assessment, technology planning, and global systems implementation. He holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University, is a graduate of Columbia University Business School's Master's Degree Program for Executives and completed Harvard Business School's Strategic Elements of Financial Management Seminar. He also holds an M.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a B.A. from Mannes College. He is an Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, teaching graduate courses in strategic investor relations and corporate communications. Mr. Negris is a recipient of the Bronze Medal for Advertising Excellence from the Advertising Club of New York. He is a frequent guest speaker on the topics of private equity, capital markets access, accelerating corporate growth, strategic financial communications and related business issues. Lexi Terrero Managing Director Ms. Terrero, Managing Director and a principal of the firm, focuses on the strategic positioning of clients in the financial markets and on new business development. She works with U.S. based and international client companies to implement corporate growth strategies through management advisory, strategic planning, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial marketing and investor relations services to help them achieve success in their respective markets. She is in continual contact with institutional sell-side and buy-side analysts and money managers, private equity and venture capital portfolio managers, investment bankers, shareholders, and other members of the investment community on behalf of client companies. She directs the creation of financial public relations, advertising, and marketing materials including press releases, annual reports, industry studies, and consumer publications. Ms. Terrero also spearheads the firm's professional activities focused on Latin American and Hispanic business communities. In particular, Ms. Terrero works with Latino entrepreneurs and CEOs of private and public companies at all stages of the business development process, who are keenly focused on growing their businesses, to achieve accelerated, profitable and sustainable growth. She helps companies define their strategic direction, designs and implement business plans, assists in accessing capital, and develops financial, advertising, marketing, brand equity, and public relations strategies. Ms. Terrero is working on her book "The Latina CEO's Guide to Achieving Business Success: Practical Strategies for Accelerating Growth", scheduled for publication in 2007, and on several magazine articles for Latino entrepreneurs. Ms. Terrero is a member of the National Association of Hispanic MBAs and is the firm's representative to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from St. Johns University. She has also completed a series of management seminars conducted by the Corporate Communication Institute (CCI) and the American Management Association. Maria del Carmen Objio Senior Director Ms. Objio worked for IATA for over 13 years where she managed all licensed and registered travel agencies registered to do business in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Previously, she worked for Dominicana Aviation where she was the General Director responsible for all foreign relations. She has traveled all over the world representing Dominican Republic as a travel destination and has vast international corporate experience. She holds an Associate’s Degree from the University of UTESA of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and completed her preliminary professional studies in the Universidad Catolica de Santo Domingo. Marjorie Silverman Senior Director Ms. Silverman is actively involved in the areas of strategic investor relations, financial marketing communications, shareholder services, and organizational development. From 1997 to 2000, she was Vice President of Marshall Consultants, an executive search firm, focusing on business development and project management in marketing communications with clients such as The American Stock Exchange, Arch Chemical, Conseco, Edelman Financial Worldwide, The McGraw-Hill Companies, Republic Industries and Thomson Financial (CDA). From 1996 to 1997, she was Manager, Corporate Services of The American Stock Exchange where she consulted with senior management for over 100 AMEX-listed companies to develop and implement investor communications programs, as well as serving on an internal advisory board to create, develop and launch interactive products and services. From 1990 to 1995, she was Senior Account Executive and #1 revenue producer nationwide at PR Newswire, a leading newswire service, where her clients included Fortune 100 companies, law firms, agencies and major non-profit organizations, for whom she created and implemented media relations and SEC disclosure training programs for corporate and agency clients. Ms. Silverman began her career as a Copywriter for Sotheby's. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor, since 1998, at the Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York, School of Business and Technology. From 1998 to 2000, she was Guest Lecturer at Marymount Manhattan College's Ecole Francaise Des Attaches De Presse. She also served on the National Investor Relations Institute's Professional Development Committee from 2000 to 2002. Ms. Silverman holds a B.S. in Communication and Media Technology from Boston University and a M.A. in Organizational Leadership and Psychology from Columbia University. |
